“If the poor boy cannot come to education, education must go to him”. This quote by Swami Vivekananda very aptly enforces our responsibility toward providing education for all. Education is crucial for the overall growth and development of a child, more so for a financially underprivileged one. We, as the privileged ones, ought to have a sense of responsibility for the betterment of those less fortunate. For a deserving student, economic difficulty should not be a barrier to be deprived of an education. Through our scholarship program we provide financial-aid to meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds, from Class V up-to Higher Secondary level. This scholarship encourages the student as well as their family to pursue higher education or non-formal or technical education to make a carrier out of that. The students need to participate in the Sushen Memorial Merit Test to get the scholarship. First 10 successful students are awarded with the scholarship.

He dreams to give his children best care and education, but extreme poverty turns everything bleak and imposible. LIt would have been almost impossible for me to continue my studies after my Madhyamik exam.as my father could not afford buying all those books of higher secondary course. It was OFINS who not only provided me with most of the required books but also promised me to provide me with all kind of support that I would require for my education. Thank you team OFINS.
